Privacy Policy
Privacy notice on the processing of personal data, issued pursuant to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), concerning data collected through this website.
1. Data Controller
The data controller for the processing of personal data is Materia Capital SA. For any request concerning the processing of personal data, the Controller may be contacted at the details below.
2. Data Processed
Through the contact form on the site, Materia Capital SA collects only the personal data voluntarily provided by the user, in particular:
- First and last name or company name
- Email address
- Area of interest (Corporate Finance, M&A, Real Estate)
- Description of the mandate or request
The site also automatically collects technical server logs (IP address, user agent, date and time of the request), necessary for the security and proper functioning of the infrastructure. The site does not use any statistical analysis (analytics) tools.
3. Purpose of Processing
The data collected is processed solely to respond to contact and advisory requests submitted by the user through the site's form, and for communications strictly related thereto.
4. Legal Basis
Processing is based on the explicit consent given by the user upon submission of the contact form, as well as on the Controller's legitimate interest in responding to requests received.
5. Google reCAPTCHA v3
The site's contact form is protected by the Google reCAPTCHA v3 service. The reCAPTCHA script is loaded only after the user has given explicit consent via the cookie banner present on the site — not before, and never automatically.
Use of the service involves the communication of certain data to Google LLC, subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Consent to the use of reCAPTCHA may be withdrawn at any time by reopening the cookie preferences banner.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
For the delivery of email communications, data collected through the contact form is transmitted to the appointed SMTP provider (smtp2go), which acts as a data processor under applicable data protection law. Beyond this technical transmission, data is not disclosed to third parties, except where required by law.
7. Data Retention
Personal data collected is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to the request received, and in any event no longer than strictly necessary for the purposes indicated above.
8. Rights of the Data Subject
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the user has the right at any time to:
